Munir, Saad Bin UK Licence Plate Synthetic Images. [DataSet]

Description

This dataset consists of synthetic images of UK Licence plates.

It was generated by using Standard sizes of letters and spacing used by DLVA.

The dataset contains 4 types:

'yellowplate_normal' contains yellow licence plates with no Augmentation applied.
'whiteplate_normal' contains white licence plates with no Augmentation applied.
'yellowplate_augmented' contains yellow licence plates with Augmentation techniques applied.
'whiteplate_augmented' contains white licence plates with agmentation techniques applied.

The Augmented dataset can be used for detection of licence plates as well as recognition.

The normal dataset can be used for recognition of licence plate number.

All datasets should be combined to take all types and augmentations into consideration.
